Reina's past performances: Saturday November 17, 2007: Oregon East Symphony plays Dvorak and Beethoven. Sunday December 2: PSU Symphony Concert including Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 3 (a classic for any clarinet enthusiast!) Sunday December 9: Hanukkah Party at Congregation Ahavath Achim Sunday January 13, 2008 at 1:30pm: Recital with Soprano Sheerya Shivers at the Rose Schnitzer Manor. Saturday January 19 at 7:30pm: Recital with Soprano Sheerya Shivers at PSU's Lincoln Hall 75. Check out the announcement in the Jewish Review! http://www.jewishreview.org/node/9729 Sunday March 9: Reina plays with the Portland State University Choir. 4pm at PSU Lincoln Hall 75. Friday March 21: Come to Congregation Neveh Shalom to hear the Percy Bernstein Orchestra play for Friday night services. Reina will be tootin' her clarinet as usual! Monday April 14: The PSU Clarinet Ensemble performs with the Prelude Series before the Oregon Symphony concert. Come here some great works for clarinet choir, then stay and listen to the Orchestra perform the Mozart Clarinet Concerto! Thursday April 17: The PSU Clarinet Ensemble plays the noon concert series at Lincoln hall. Noon in the Lincoln Recital Hall, Room 75. PSU Opera Presents La Bohème: One of my favorite operas! Five showings. 7:30 p.m. on Friday April 25, Wednesday April 30, Friday May 2, and Saturday May 3. 3 p.m. on Sunday April 27, 2008 all in the Lincoln Performance Hall (1620 SW Park Avenue). Wednesday April 30, 11am-1pm: Playing for a master class with Bill Williams, performance psychologist and principal trumpet of the San Francisco Symphony. He will be talking about performance anxiety and performance techniques. Friday May 16: Reina plays for the Master Class with Gary Gray. Sunday June 1 at 3pm in Lincoln Hall Room 301: Come one, come all for the fabulous recital presented by Reina's Clarinet Studio!! Yup, that's right, my students are putting on the show. Everyone will be playing a piece, then we'll all play something together! Sunday June 8 at 3pm: PSU Symphony Concert. We're playing Dvorak's 8th Symphony and the Poulenc Double Concerto! Should be fun! July 7-12: Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. Reina is playing in the clarinet master classes and getting a suntan! If you're on the Big Island, stop by for some lovely tunes and inspiring music! Saturday August 9: Buffet Summer Clarinet Academy performance. Reina plays a Brahms sonata in a lovely recital of clarinet music. Saturday August 16: Performance of the Wallawa Lake Woodwind Camp. Reina is a counselor this year and will be helping with the clarinets. Sunday September 14: Reina and Tami play for their good friends Bret and Matt's wedding! Sunday October 26: Reina and Tami premiere the new name of their Duet, Duo Rosa, for Congregation Neveh Shalom's Building Dedication Celebration. Sunday November 2: Duo Rosa plays for the Torah Fund Tea at Congregation Neveh Shalom. November 8 and 9: Reina plays in the orchestra for the Willamette Master Chorus' annual Veteran's concert in Salem, Oregon. Saturday December 13 at 5pm: Reina's Clarinet Studio
presents another recital!! This is not to be missed! Come hear some
fine music by young players and see a special appearance of Duo Rosa.
